We have finished our novel Lost and Found . For the remainder of Semester 1 we will do Reader's Theater in class. I have truly enjoyed teaching Semester 1's Reading Enrichment classes, but look forward to the new classes coming in for Semester 2!
Week at a glance...

Hello students and parents,

It feels so GREAT to be back at school! I have enjoyed my time off nurturing my little one.

If you have any questions about Quarter 1 please do not hesitate to ask and I will definitely work with you to make sure your student's grades reflect his/her potential. Quarter 2 grades are looking good and I hope that your students will continue to come prepared, follow instructions, and participate.

Students, don't forget to bring your supplies, books, and your own novel every day! Remember that you get TWO opportunities to do extra credit PER QUARTER! The extra credit assignments are attached below.

As always, if you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact me (preferably by email).
For the week...
We will be reading Lost and Found by Anne Schraff. After every two chapters we will work in small groups to discuss and analyze vocabulary, supporting details, main ideas, and conclusions. We will also do discussion questions and writing assignments. All written work should be completed in your composition journal.

Don't forget to bring your own novels every single day!

Lessons are subject to change throughout the week.
